Energy efficiency: nice, but not needed?

Interview with Dr. Bernd Kosch, Head of Environmental Technology, Fujitsu
Saving energy is always good, especially as it usually also means savings in terms of costs. However, if a piece of EU legislation is suddenly passed and a reporting system is required, with which the continued endeavor to reduce energy requirements can be proved, then the world looks a little different. We have had this need for action in Europe since September 11, 2012.

One way of confronting this is Ecotrack. What Ecotrack can do and why it should be used as a cloud service is explained by Dr. Bernd Kosch in his interview on the Fujitsu Forum 2012.
