Pakistan president undergoes tests in London (AP)

LONDON ? Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has recently undergone medical tests in London and received a clean bill of health.

Pakistan's High Commissioner to the U.K. Wajid Shamsul Hasan said in a statement Sunday that Zardari underwent an angiography and some routine medical tests at London's Royal Brompton Hospital.

He said the angiography was performed by Royal Brompton Hospital's head of cardiology, Carlo Di Mario, with assistance from leading U.S. cardiologists.

Hasan said that after carrying out the pre-planned checkup, the doctors gave Zardari a clean bill of health.
